Woke up today to an empty wine glass, and the knowledge that in my tired, mildly inebriated state I had last night very nearly staked £33 at 39/1 odds on all three party leaders being the leaders of their party by the time of the next General Election. What I didn't realise until the last minute, long after registering an account in order to place the bet, was that betting on "All Three" referred not to Blair, Howard and Kennedy, but Blair, Duncan Smith and Kennedy. Lucky escape.
