The VRWC lives!
Anyone who keeps an eye on Paul Krugman's wild New York Times columns may be inclined, given what he includes, to wonder what gets left out. The National Review's Byron York gives a hint in his account of a Krugman lecture to students of New York University. Oh dear.
As I've noted before, what's so ironic about Krugman's politicking is the skill with which he can and so often does take apart the economic counterparts to these silly theses. If there is a better latter-day exponent of unideological, just-stick-to-the-facts economics, I haven't read him. A superlative poster-child for sticking to one's chosen field.
